Kids World: Paediatric Therapy is a private paediatric therapy service located in Lane Cove, Sydney. The practice is owned and directed by Georgina Ahrens, OT.

She has a number of occupational therapists working with her in the practice who have been specially trained by Georgina to provide services to their clients. Our practice is focused on working with children and their families who have disorders and difficulties with relating and communicating including:

• Autism spectrum disorders

• Sensory integration disorders

• Regulatory issues

• Dyspraxia

• Developmental delays

Our therapy practice incorporates the DIR®/Model (Floortime) developed by Dr Stanley Greenspan, MD and Serena Wieder PhD and a specialist understanding of the impact of sensory processing difficulties, sensory integration difficulties, regulatory issues and motor development and how these difficulties impact a child’s ability to relate and interact with others while efficiently moving along the developmental pathways, required to achieve their full potential.

All therapists are providers for all major private health funds as well as registered providers through Medicare to access the Enhanced Primary Care, Focussed Psychological Strategies and the new Autism Initiatives (where applicable).  All therapists are also able to provide services to clients with NDIS Self-Managed or Plan Managed funding.
