About Us​
Kids World Paediatric Therapy is a centre-based private practice in Lane Cove, established in 2003 by Georgina Ahrens, who introduced the DIR® Floortime™ model to Australia. We are dedicated to supporting children from birth to 17 years, with a focus on individual strengths and developmental needs. Our therapists work collaboratively to build on children’s relationships and help them reach their full potential through play-based, individualised interventions.

About the Role
​
We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist or Speech Therapist to join our team.
Your role will include:

Conducting comprehensive evaluations and developing individualised treatment programs.

Engaging in parent and teacher conferencing to support collaborative care.

Preparing written evaluations, progress reports, and treatment notes.

Participating in individual and peer therapy sessions.
-
Leading or participating in intensive social therapy programs.

Engaging in weekly mentoring and team meetings.
-
Committing to ongoing professional development.
Essential Criteria

Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) or equivalent.

Current membership with OT Australia or relevant professional body.
-
Current Working With Children Check.
-
Registered with Medicare with a Provider Number.
Desired Criteria
​

Experience working with children in a therapeutic setting.

Familiarity with or training in the DIR® Floortime™ model.

Self-motivated and proactive with a commitment to positive client outcomes.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Professionalism and empathy in client interactions.

You will receive an extensive induction and training period before managing your own caseload. We provide a competitive hourly rate, flexible work arrangements, and weekly coaching from our Clinic Director, Georgina Ahrens, ensuring you have the support and guidance needed to excel in your role.
